A City on the Move
The largest city in southeast Arkansas and the tenth-largest city in the state, Pine Bluff sits astride Interstate 530 and U. S. Highway 65 on the banks of the Arkansas River. Located just 42 miles southeast of Little Rock and 100 miles upstream of the river’s confluence with the Mississippi River, the city is situated in the Southeast section of the Arkansas Delta straddling the Arkansas Timberlands region to its west. Pine Bluff is home to Southeast Arkansas College and the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, one of the 104 Historically Black Colleges and Universities in the nation.

Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotion Commission
Building Awareness; Driving Tourism
The Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotion Commission is a destination marketing agency overseen by a seven-person commission. Funded through prepared food sales and occupancy taxes, the A&P Commission markets Pine Bluff as a year-round destination for leisure, business, group and individual travel. In addition to raising a majority of operating funds for the Pine Bluff Convention Center, the Commission provides funding assistance to many Pine Bluff attractions, festivals, sporting events, and special events. The Pine Bluff Advertising and Promotion Commission meets the fourth Wednesday of every month at 4:00 PM at the A&P offices at 615 S. Main Street.
