Lake Saracen

A beautiful golden sunset on the river.

Named in honor of Chief Saracen, chief of the Quapaw Indians who were residents of Jefferson County when the first settlers reached Pine Bluff in the early 1800s, 500-acre Lake Saracen is a major focal point for Pine Bluff’s Central Business District. Anglers catch largemouth bass, white crappie, bream, and catfish. Launch your boat at Saracen Landing and at a public access ramp located on Highway 79 North.
