Grider Field Municipal Airport

The Black Pilots of America descend upon Pine Bluff for fun, aviation camaraderie, flying competition, and free airplane rides for the kids.

Every Memorial Day weekend, members of the Black Pilots Association of America descend upon Pine Bluff for their annual Fly-In. In fact, 2019 marks the 23rd consecutive year that member chapters from across the nation will touch down at Pine Bluff’s Grider Field Municipal Airport for a weekend of fun, aviation camaraderie, and flying competition. The first Operation Skyhook event was held in 1971. Kids can get airplane rides and admission is free!
